Yellowstone.

June 26th, Briony and I started our Yellowstone adventure. We left early Sunday morning heading to Cody, Wyoming, where we would spend the night. I stopped in Thermopolis, and was delighted that there were quite a few of the state herd of Bison out and about, so Briony got to see them and see why I have developed a fondness for this city.
We woke up early on Monday, checked Georgia into her boarding facility, and headed to Yellowstone.  We saw our first Bison before we even entered the park, and only a few miles in we stopped where there was a large crowd gathered to see this mama grizzly bear and her cub playing.

That was a great start to our adventure. From there we saw lots of other creatures as we did the figure 8 road of Yellowstone over the next three days.

We stopped at all of the major attractions, and some minor ones. It was very hot, but we never let that get us down.

One of our days we drove down to the Tetons to get a couple of geocaches that I needed for a challenge that I am doing, and one of them was at Jenny Lake, which I was unable to visit in November when I was in Jackson, due to the roads already being closed.

We stayed in West Yellowstone, Montana while we were here, and visited the Wolf and Grizzly center. I didn't realize that they had live animals when I decided to go, so that was a nice surprise.

We had a great time, and saw so many cool things. I'm sure I'm missing sharing tons of cool photos, but I'll be putting them all up on my photo website, so if you aren't already a member of that, let me know and I'll add you and send you the link.
