We got home from GeoWoodstock 14er on the 4th of July. It was nice to be able to celebrate the 4th with Briony again, as we have in the past. In 2010, we celebrated with a party and fireworks at our cottage in Virginia. In 2012, we were in Washington DC on holiday. In 2013, she and I went to Freedom Has a Birthday at Washington Park, here in Laramie. That is what we did again this year.
We were both tired from all of our travels, and we had just picked up Georgia, so didn't want to stress her out, so we attended only for a short time. We got free ice cream (I shared mine with Georgia) and listened to a little music, before walking back home to rest for the rest of the day.
